WACO, TX - Waco police report making a second arrest in connection with two violent incidents that started as thefts and turned into robberies at a clothing store for kids.
Eighteen-year-old Shellra Damarion Norwood was named in arrest warrants for robbery bodily injury and robbery fear of injury when she was picked up by officers on Thursday.
Norwood is accused of being one of a group of women that entered the Children's Place in Central Texas Marketplace December 7, 2017 and made a loud scene.
As some of the women created a disturbance, two of them are accused of gathering up clothing, then kicking and scratching a store employee while trying to leave.
Members of the Waco Police Department Special Crimes Unit say in an arrest affidavit filed in support of one of the warrants says it appeared that two of the same women went back to the same store January 24th and were harassing a store employee and threatened to be waiting in the parking lot after hours to attack and kill her later.
The investigating officer said that heavy metal clothing racks were thrown at an employee and that they could have easily caused serious bodily injury or death while clothing was being taken.
Court papers indicated that the store employees identified the women that were also captured in photographs in another store.
Police had reported that Alexis Johnson had been arrested earlier in the week in connection with the same incidents.
