Belton vocalists selected as Texas All-State Musicians

Kara Fish and Rachel Wohleb to perform with top musicians at state convention

BELTON, Texas - Two Belton High School student vocalists have been selected as members of the Texas All-State Choirs.

Kara Fish and Rachel Wohleb will perform with top musicians in the state and work with world-renowned clinicians during the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio on February 17.

Fish is a sophomore member of the Belton High School A Cappella Choir, and will perform with the Texas All-State Mixed Choir as 1st chair Alto 1. Wohleb is a senior member of the Belton High School A Cappella Choir, and will perform with the Texas All-State Treble Choir as 4th chair Soprano 1.

This will be the first time for the two of them to perform as members of a TMEA All-State organization. Of the 15,000+ Texas high school students who initially audition at the region level, these vocalists are a part of just the top 2.5 percent who become all state choir members.
