Burglary suspect arrested, police look at other cases

WACO, TX - A 34-year-old Waco man has been arrested on charges he broke into a downtown Waco area business, with police now saying he is a person of interest in other burglaries in the area.

Shawn Nobles was arrested by police in connection with the September 5 break-in at Lawns Limited at 1825 Franklin Avenue.

In that case, the arrest affidavit says that when the business was entered,  a suspect was captured on surveillance video, showing a man rummaging through the property inside the business.

At least nine I-phones and multiple gas cards were taken.

Court papers indicate that there were other burglaries in the area including at St. Mary's Church and First Baptist Church.

In the case of First Baptist, surveillance video also captured a suspect and fingerprints were recovered.

The investigation of the church burglaries and others are ongoing.
