TEMPLE, Texas - A Catholic high school in Temple gets a car through its office area.
Temple Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a car into the Holy Trinity School, located at 6608 W. Adams Avenue.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at 12:09 p.m. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 12:13 p.m. to find a passenger vehicle had totaled the inside of the office portion of the school.
Firefighters rendered aid to the sole occupant of the vehicle and worked to stabilize the structure. Temple EMS crews transported the occupant to Baylor Scott and White Hospital.
Since the school was on Spring Break, the building was unoccupied and there were no injuries other than the driver of the vehicle. Details of the accident and the investigation into the cause is being completed by Temple Police.
Five Temple Fire units and nine Temple Fire personnel responded.
Fire units remained on scene until the vehicle was safely removed from the structure.
