KILLEEN, Texas - Killeen Independent School District families have got some good health news.
The number of new cases of flu cases fell sharply last week, down 33 percent to 123 cases, for the week ending on February 9. This is compared to 184 cases from the previous week, and to 197 cases from the week ending on January 26.
No Killeen ISD schools have had to cancel any classes for this flu season.
The district says parents and staff are doing a great job of working together to try and limit the spread of the flu.
The numbers of flu cases for this season have remained below three-tenths of one percent of the district's student population.
