Man arrested for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - A man starts a conflict inside a College Station business before being taken down by patrons.

College Station Police Department officers responded to a report of deadly conduct which took place in the 300 block of University Drive on Wednesday night.

When officers arrived, they were told a man entered a business and started an altercation with employees. During this altercation, patrons of the business intervened to calm all parties involved.

When they intervened, the man took out a knife and threatened to harm them. The patrons were eventually able to take the knife from the man.

The man has been identified as 43-year-old James Allen Tomlin, of Bulverde, Texas. He was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
