COLLEGE STATION, Texas - One man is facing numerous charges after refusing to leave a bar.
College Station Police responded to a report of a man refusing to leave the address of 217 University Drive.
Officers arrived and found 21-year-old Keith Austin Carrus of Baytown still there.
After their initial investigation, Carrus was arrested for public intoxication.
Carrus physically resisted the arrest and refused to cooperate with officers' efforts to search him and transport him to jail.
Once in jail, Carrus struck a holding facility employee with his hand, causing visible injury.
Carrus was immediately subdued and placed in a cell. He has been additionally charged with resisting arrest, resisting search, resisting transport and assault on a public servant.
