Man hit by car, thrown over hood during argument

COLLEGE STATION, TX - College Station police report that an early Wednesday morning argument led to a man being hit by a car, but miraculously not being seriously injured.

Police report it happened shortly after 3:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Navarro, originally reported as a civil disturbance between a couple living in the area.

When police arrived they found only one man who said that the other part had left the scene in a vehicle.

He said he had been hit by the car as he was standing in front of it during the argument.

He was hit by the front bumper of the car, fell over the hood then fell off as the car turned onto a road and drove away.

He fell onto the pavement.

He was treated at the scene but refused transport to a hospital,

Police have listed the case as an aggravated assault.
