WACO, Texas - Aviation fans have the chance to walk through some historic airplanes as the Wings of Freedom Tour rolls in to Waco!
The tour goes through this Thursday, and includes a fleet of wartime aircrafts such as a B-17 bomber.
Visitors at the Waco Regional Airport even have the chance to fly the planes! It costs $450 a person for a half hour.
Organizers say one of the best parts involves watching World War II veterans light up when they arrive.
"For them its like seeing an old friend. It's pretty emotional. What strikes me is the kids. Grandpa hasn't spoken in years, and suddenly he's 18 again sitting in his old crew position," says flight coordinator Jamie Mitchell.
The event is run by the Collings Foundation non-profit, with tickets starting at $15.
