WACO, TX - A woman who injured two police officers who were trying to subdue her during a disturbance call is now facing multiple charges.
Officers were called to a residence near 20th Street and Meridian Avenue just after noon Wednesday with regard to a woman causing a disturbance and who had been told by police not to go to that location after several incidents.
When officers arrived and reminded her that she had been warned away from that location multiple times and that she needed to leave, she refused.
Officers then tried to arrest her for criminal trespass at which time she put up a fight.
It took four officers to get her into custody but not before two officers were injured and required medical treatment.
The woman, identified as 43-year-old Angelina Kristine Wonsch, had already previously faced charges of violence against family members and now has been charged with the new charge of continuous violence against the family, along with resisting arrest and assault on a public servant.
