Waco, TX - The Baylor Bears improved to 10-1 in NIT games under Scott Drew with an 80-59 win over Wagner in the opening round on Tuesday night at the Ferrell Center.
The Bears had five players in double figures led by Manu LeComte's 24 points. T.J. Maston was the leading rebounder with 8 boards to go along with his 13 points.
Baylor held the Seahawks to 29.6% shooting from the field, including 6 of 30 from beyond the arc.
The Bears will now face the winner of Nebraska and Mississippi State.
