Baylor Football Versatile in Backfield

Waco, Texas - Spring football is back in action, and Baylor's offense has stepped it up a notch.  The offensive line only lost one starter from the 2017 team, and currently has a lot of depth.  This time last year, the team practiced with around 7 to 8 players on the offensive line, and now they have around 16 to 17 practicing on the offensive line.

In the backfield, the team is versatile with three returning players, junior JaMycal Hasty, sophomore John Lovett and sophomore Trestan Ebner.  Each running back brings a different skill set to the table.  Ebner proved to be a reliable third down back last season, and his ability to catch poses a major threat to any team.

"...yes I feel like I have that secret weapon, ya know come out the backfield and make plays for us ..." Trestan Ebner said.

"...he made a lot of plays in the pass game at the end of the year, and I'm expecting him to take off again in that roll..." Jeff Nixon said.
