Baylor Men's Basketball Not Invited to NCAA Tournament

Waco, Texas - Baylor did not get invited to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in five season.  The Bears finish the season with an 8-10 conference record, and an over record of 18-14.  Baylor went 1-4 the last five games of the season, after going on a 5 game win streak, when they defeated Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Texas and Texas Tech.

"...once you find out you're not in, it's on to the next best thing, and for us it was no suspense, you know the first four out are in the NIT..." Scott Drew said.

The Bears are playing in the NIT tournament as a number 1 seed, and face Wagner in the first round on Tuesday.

"...Any opportunity to play basketball, if you love it, is a blessing, any time you get to put on that uniform..." Jake Lindsey said.

"Whenever you get the opportunity to play in NIT, it's great for program and exciting for fans to play different teams in a win or go home environment..." Scott Drew said.
