Two men were arrested and a large amount of cash and marijuana were seized in Limestone County Tuesday night.
A Limestone County Sheriff’s Office corporal spotted a vehicle under suspicious circumstances about 7:30 p.m. on Limestone County Road 464 South of Mexia and decided to check it out.
A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana in individual packages as is usually prepared to sell.
Also recovered were scales and a large amount of cash
Two men from Waco in the vehicle were identified and detained.
They were identified as Xavier A. Hernandez and Michael A. Gonzales
Gonzales was booked into the Limestone County Jail on charges of delivery of marijuana under or equal to five pounds.
Hernandez was booked in on the delivery of marijuana charges and a separate charge of credit or debit card abuse.
