A 42-year-old Houston woman has been ordered to return to Cameron and will be held without bond in a drunk driving case after her past history involving a DWI came to light.

Sharon Rose Alfaro had been indicted by a Milam County Grand Jury back in November on charges of intoxication assault and DWI with a child passenger, both third degree felonies.

She had posted bond and was free pending trial or further court action.

But the District Attorney Bill Torrey learned that at the time of the offense in Milam County, Alfaro was already out on bond for a DWI in Montgomery County.

Following a motion by Torrey, District Court Judge John W. Youngblood ordered Alfaro’s bond be revoked and she be ordered back into the Milam County Jail.

There she will be held without the possibility of bonding out until those pending Milam County cases are resolved.
