WACO, TX - Waco police report a woman had to be cut out of her vehicle after it hit a tree and then a house early Monday morning.
A police department spokesperson said the call came in at 12:40 a.m. about the incident at 14th and Waco Drive.
Police say the woman was driving a Chevy Trailblazer at a high rate of speed on Waco Drive, lost control, striking and breaking a utility pole, then hitting a tree and the corner of a house.
While no one in the house was injured the car was heavily damaged and rescue personnel had to work to extricate the woman from the vehicle.
The fire and police reports say she was partially ejected from the vehicle and trapped under the tree.
She was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital with her condition unknown Monday morning.
