Colorado murder suspect arrested in Temple

A 23-year-old Colorado man wanted for murder there has been arrested by Temple Police.

Jerenzo Clarence Kyles was booked into the Bell County Jail at 11:36 p.m.Monday night.

Temple Police Department spokesperson Shawana Neely said he was in the lobby when it was confirmed that he had two outstanding warrants, one for murder out of El Paso County, Colorado and one for unlawful flight to avoid persecution from the FBI.

Jail records listed a home address for him in Fountain, Colorado.

Information on the nature of the crime was not available from Colorado authorities Tuesday afternoon.
