WACO, Texas. Waco Fire Department is continuing to investigate the cause of a warehouse fire on Central Texas Parkway.
The fire began on Saturday around 2 in the afternoon at Waco Boom.
According to the company’s website, the site is used to produce fiber glass for aerial devices.
One woman who worked nearby said she witnessed the incident.
“At first the smoke wasn’t that big, so I think I saw right when the smoke started. And the smoke started escaping through the windows, and all of a sudden it grew really tall,” said Chandler Crouch.
Deputy Fire Chief, Rob Bergerson said there were 5 employees in the building who made it out safely.
Bergerson also added that the warehouse sustained minimal damage inside.
No injuries were reported.
