Monday night was the last chance to ask Killeen school leaders about the $426 million bond election being held on May 5.

The district held their last education meeting for the public in the cafeteria of Skipcha Elementary, located at 515 Prospector Trail in Harker Heights.

Two items on the ballot focused on building new schools to ease overcrowding and to make repairs to existing schools.

This is the first bond election for Killeen in 16 years.
