Killeen PD investigating bank robbery

Killeen Police are currently investigating a robbery at the First National Bank.

Officers were dispatched to 4304 E. Central Texas Expressway on April 5 after receiving a 911 call about the bank being robbed.

When officers arrived, they were told a man entered the bank, walked up to the teller and passed a note with a demand. The teller complied and the man fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money in a white four-door sedan.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, eyeglasses and a dark-colored ball cap. He is described as a heavy-set African-American man, standing at six feet tall with a thin goatee.
