Killeen PD make arrest in shooting


​The Killeen Police Department has made an arrest after a man was found with a gunshot wound on Thursday evening.

Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of N 4th Street at 5:15 p.m. in reference to a shooting victim.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was airlifted to Baylor Scott and White Temple with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the area in a vehicle, but officers in the area located the vehicle and apprehended the suspect.

This investigation is still ongoing.

In another story, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Old FM-440 at 7:14 p.m. in reference to a disturbance on Wednesday night. Officers also found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. This man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
