Local student wants you to ‘Live and Breathe Texas’

Local

A local student used her artistic skill to help spread the word about keeping Texas skies clean.

14-year-old Autumn Stump attends Waco’s Midway High School, and was one winner of the Texas Department of Transportation’s first Live and Breath Texas kids poster contest.

Contestants were asked to submit a poster encouraging Texas drivers to help keep emission out of the sky.

Out of all the contestants, only three were chosen from across the state. The winning poster will be displayed in auto-parts stores across the state this coming May.
