WACO, TX - Waco police say that an argument over a flat tire on a bicycle sent an elderly man to the hospital and eventually led to the arrest of a 38-year-old Waco man.
Waco police spokesman Patrick Swanton said the incident occurred March 10 at a home in the 600 block of South 9th Street.
The 69-year-old victim told police he had loaned a bicycle to William Lashaune Williams and when he brought it back, it had a flat tire.
The two men argued about it, when the victim told police the man jumped on him, punched him and dragged him out of the house.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital and was later released.
Police obtained a warrant for Williams on a charge of injury to an elderly person, a third degree felony.
He was arrested on Friday.
