Man hospitalized after motorcycle accident

KILLEEN, Texas - A man is hospitalized after a motorcycle crash in Killeen.

Killeen Police officers were dispatched to I-14 westbound, near the Rosewood bridge, in reference to a motorcycle crash on Wednesday morning.  

When officers arrived, it was discovered the rider was not wearing a helmet. The rider lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected from it.  

The rider had major head trauma and was transported by Life Flight to Scott & White Hospital. He is in serious condition.  

No other vehicles were reported to have been involved in this incident. The Traffic Unit responded to the scene for investigation.
