WACO, Texas - It's a good day to go out and get some lemonade!
Over 370 Raising Cane's restaurants in 23 states, including here in Texas, are partnering with Lemonade Day on Tuesday to spark youth entrepreneurship. All locations are donating $1 to the non-profit for every lemonade purchased from open to close.
Lemonade Day is an organization teaching youth how to start, own and operate their very own business - a lemonade stand.
"So just pretty much give back to entrepreneurs, cause that's what he is and that's what he is at heart. So he kind of just wants to help out and give back as much as he can," says Raising Cane's General Manager Ulises Rosas.
Also on Tuesday, Raising Cane's customers can register a child to participate in Lemonade Day and give them a taste of the sweet success which comes with owning your own business.
