Six held in team burglary


Killeen police say three adults were arrested and three juveniles detained after they were rounded up following a report of a burglary in progress.

Police were called to the 3600 block of Warfield Drive Friday evening at 8:10 p.m. regarding the burglary.

While they were on the way they were told that several males were breaking into a home.

When they got there, the saw a male running across the street at what officers described as ” a very fast pace.”

Officers gave chase, checked out the neighborhood and a short time later had a total of six male in custody,  three were adults and three others were all 16-years-old.

They also recovered property believed taken from the residence.

The adults booked into the Bell County Jail were identified as 18-year-old Preston Devon Harrington, 17-year-old Demetrius Deven Holmes and 20-year-old Alton Frank Jame McMarion all of Killeen.

The identities of the juveniles detained were not released.
