TEMPLE, TX - Temple police say a man shot and killed the Monday afternoon shooting near Saulsbury and Betsy Ross has been identified as 19-year-old Savion Manuel of Copperas Cove.
He was found lying on the ground when officers responded to a shots fired call at 2:15 p.m. Monday.
Though officers immediately began performing CPR on the victim, he never recovered.
Monday night as officers continued their investigation they got word of suspicious activity inside a residence in the 800 block of Betsy Ross.
They met with the homeowner and got consent to search, finding three teen age males inside who were later detained in the case.
One was a juvenile whose name was not release, the other two were identified as 18-year-old Marques Kejuaan Brown and 17-year-old Cash Le'Anthony Hilliard.
The case has been presented to the Bell County District Attorney's Office for review with charges pending.
