Waco PD officer indefinitely suspended

Local

The Waco Police Department was notified of the arrest of Officer Willy Rafael Lopez for prostitution by the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office last January.

After a thorough internal investigation by Waco PD’s Professional Standards and Conduct Unit of the Waco Police Department, it has been determined Lopez violated departmental policy.

Lopez was indefinitely suspended from his position as a Waco police officer by Chief of Police Ryan Holt on Monday.
