What police say started out as a shoplifting style theft at a Killeen Dollar General Store Sunday has now developed into robbery charges for a 31-year-old woman.
Bond has been set at a total of $100,000 for Natasha Keshee Adams of Killeen and she remained in the Bell County Jail Tuesday.
Police were called to the store at 203 Hallmark Avenue at 9:20 a.m. Sunday on what was initially called a disturbance complaint.
When they got there, they were told the woman had entered the store and then attempted to leave with items without paying.
When two store employees tried to stop her from getting away, the report said she ” intentionally and recklessly caused bodily inury” to the two employees.
She was booked into the jail on two counts of robbery.
