National Drug Take Back Day sets new records

Pain Stops Here

The Drug Enforcement Administration says the 2018 National Drug Take Back Day set new records.

FOX44 teamed up with Integrated Pain Associates and the Hewitt Police Department last month to give people a place to drop off expired or unused prescription drugs.

Law enforcement across the country collected over 940,000 pounds of legal drugs in one day.

Texans turned in almost 83,000 pounds – more than any other state. California came in second, with just under 70,000 pounds.
