Harker Heights police are warning residents and businesses to be on the lookout for ” Movie Money” being passed for real cash.

Spokesman Stephen Miller says police have received several reports of someone coming in and making a small purchase to be paid for with what is a very convincing looking $100 bill, then receiving change.

At first glance, the bills look very real, but on closer examination they are labeled as ” For Motion Picture Use Only” and “non-negotiable.”

Anyone encountering someone trying to pass these bills or who has taken on is asked to call the Harker Heights Police Department at 254-953-5400.
