‘Salute to Service’ youth mini-camp coming to Fort Hood school

News

The Dallas Cowboys and Dairy MAX are taking their Fuel Up to Play 60 Mini-Camp youth health and wellness program to Central Texas.

They will be dropping by Montague Village Elementary School on Friday.

While on base, the team’s Football Academy staff will host two mini-camp events, each including an indoor Fuel Up to Play 60 Rowdy assembly, nutrition games and an outdoor mini-camp featuring traditional football skills and Dallas Cowboys Cowboys Cheerleader movement exercises.

Longtime Dallas Cowboys Radio sideline reporter Kristi Scales will emcee the assembly and camp sessions. Approximately 400 Montague Village Elementary School students will participate in the event across the two mini-camp periods.

The Dallas Cowboys and the National Football League have a long history of honoring veterans and active duty military members, and are proud to recognize their sacrifice through the Salute to Service campaign each November.
