A water main break in south Waco leaves a massive hole in the middle of a neighborhood.
The City of Waco says all water service has returned to normal in the area, but crews are still working to repair the broken pipe – which broke on Tuesday morning and flooded Sanger Avenue, near 28th Street.
Officials say repairs on the pipe should be done this weekend.
The hole is expected to be backfilled and covered by a metal plate on Monday, along with the reopening of the streets.
As far as asphalt repairs go, the City of Waco says they are unsure how long that will take.
