Baylor Baseball Takes Series Opener with Cal Poly

The Baylor Baseball team took their series opener 3-0 on Friday night against Cal Poly at Baylor Ballpark.

Paul Dickens got the start for the Bears, in place of Hayden Kettler and he was outstanding, going seven innings, allowing just one hit and striking out five.

The bats got going, for the Bears in the bottom of the 4th when Shea Langeliers and Andy Thomas teamed up for back-to-back doubles that staked the Bears to a 2-0 lead.

Baylor tacked on another run in the 8th to make it 3-0 and close the door on the Mustangs.

The Bears will go for the series win on Saturday at 3:05pm, back at Baylor Ballpark.
