The Baylor Baseball team stayed hot on Tuesday night knocking off a Sam Houston State 9-6 at Baylor Ballpark.
The Bears fell down 1-0 in the first, but responded with single-runs in the bottom of the first second and third to take the 2-1 lead.
The Bears would tack on six runs in the fifth, and another in the sixth to push their lead out to 9-2. Sam Houston would add four more runs in the late innings, but it would not be enough.
Baylor will travel to Lubbock on Wednesday ahead of their series with Texas Tech, beginning Thursday.
