Behind Enemy Lines: The Kansas Jayhawks

Waco, TX - We are taking a look at Baylor's Big 12 opponents for the 2018 football season starting with the Kansas Jayhawks.

Former Aggie Assistant David Beaty begins his 4th season at the helm of the Jayhawks carrying a 3-33 record in his first 3 years.

"Our guys have put the work in, but they know that's the price of admission and there are a lot of things that we feel like we have learned over the last few years that are going to give us an edge," Beaty said this week at Big 12 Media Days.

The Jayhawks are entering their second year under offensive coordinator Doug Meacham, trying to improve the conference's ninth best passing attack.

The Jayhawks return the most experience of anyone in the country, in what is likely a make-or-break season for Beaty.

"When it comes to a win total, I don't have that answer," he said when asked how many wins they would need to make it a successful season. "I don't know that many people do, but I know this, I've bet around Christmas time we know."

Baylor hosts Kansas on September 22nd at McLane Stadium.
