Bradford Baffles TCU in Series Opener

Waco, TX - Baylor Baseball snapped their 7-game Big 12 losing streak in a big way with a 6-0 shutout of TCU on Friday night at Baylor Ballpark.

Cody Bradford returned to his Friday night role and was dazzling pitching a complete-game one-hit shutout, striking out 10 TCU batters along the way.

The Baylor offense got to TCU pitcher Nick Lodolo, in the first, with an RBI by Andy Thomas. They then chased him in the 4th after two runs scored on an error, and Davis Wendzel cashed in with a two-RBI single to blow the game open at 5-0.

Baylor and TCU are slated to play game two at 3:05 Saturday afternoon at Baylor Ballpark.
